Poems by Devotees

A Thought...by Siddhartha from Delhi

I float in the thoughts of someone …..
Someone who seems to know……..
But the thought itself is pointing….
For me to go solo……….

What was so mine, for so long………….
For so I thought, to be……..
This novel tinkling is telling me…….
Was my dreamy reverie………..

Its smiling, its coaxing……….
But does not seem to mock……
It’s hinting to something…..
Waiting to unlock…..

My mind, my journey, my isms…..
Are giving up on me……..
This thought alone, stands……..
Garroting the mystery……

There is no path, no need for it…….
For there is no place to go……..
I am here, and here it is…..
Where is the need for show……..

Bhajan... by Athena from USA

Swami Dear, Swamiji
I am at your lotus feet.
Swamiji, Swami Dear
Keep me close and Draw me near

Dear vessel of light, carry me
out of darkness , Swamiji
Guruji, Gurudev
by your grace, we truly live

Sacred breath, casts out all fear
daily practice, so sincere
For I am met with the measure I give
and , there is nothing to forgive.

Now it's light that I see
Everywhere! Swamiji
you were guiding us from the start
Held so gently, in your heart

When the stars, align the beam
Let us awaken from the dream
Guruji we are not scared
By your grace we are prepared.

Our Guruji GYAN SWAMI...Poem by a Devotee

Great Master, we are fortunate to have you in our midst
Your blessings have started to clear the ignorance mist
Armed security and barricades around you, there are none
Never unavailable, you have brought into our lives bliss and untainted fun

Simplicity, you have taught us by being a practising example
Worries, anxieties, negativities gone, you have turned our beings into the lord’s temple
Artificial ego-filled lives have changed; anger, lust and jealousy have become lame
Message from you: “Laugh, play and do Dhyana; don’t pursue worldly charms and fame
In God’s kingdom, everything is one, so why identify with your face and name”
